Elections are held at the annual Fall Convention Business

Meetings: There are typically 4 Board meetings a year, including at Spring Meeting and Convention.
There is one annual Business Meeting at Convention. Other special meeting may be called as needed.
ELECTED POSITIONS:
President:
Sets dates and agendas, and presides at 4 Board meetings, and the Business meeting at convention, and any other meeting needed
throughout the year. Oversees all functions of the WOMOTC. Maintains the “Twins Network” project
for families with special needs.
1st Vice President: Presides in the President’s absence. In
charge of promoting WOMOTC membership and starting new clubs. In charge of WOMOTC club awards at Convention. In
charge of assembling and distributing club packets at Spring Meeting and Convention. In charge of We Share Book, WOMOTC
booklets and manuals.
2nd Vice President: In charge of annual state research projects and presenting results to the membership
at the Convention Business Meeting.
Secretary: Takes minutes at all meetings, types and submits them for
approval. Keeps permanent record of minutes. Also in charge of WOMOTC stationary.
Treasurer: In charge of WOMOTC
finances and checkbook. Keeps accurate financial records and presents report at each meeting. Presents a proposed
budget at each convention.
Editor: Edits and creates WOMOTC newsletter four times a year. Sends it
to the printer for copying.
Publisher: Maintains WOMOTC membership mailing list, and sends it to the printer
for bulk mailing.
Historian/ Chaplain: Gives opening and closing prayer at WOMOTC meetings and functions. Maintains
and keeps records of WOMOTC scrapbooks. Write annual history report for the records.
Nominating Committee: (4 people)
Help to promote members to run for office at conventions. Help run elections and count ballots.
Appointed Positions:
Advisor:
The Past President serves as an advisor to the current President and Board.
Nominating Chair: Leads the nominating
committee to fill the slate for office and run elections.
Parliamentarian: Serves as a reference on Roberts Rule of Order,
and WOMOTC Bylaws and Standing Rules during meetings. Helps with suggestions and presents any change of bylaws at convention.
Ways
and Means: In charge of WOMOTC fundraising, and may conduct raffles at Spring Meeting & Convention.
Philanthropic:
In charge of keeping records for all funds of official philanthropic charity donation. Runs philanthropic raffles at
Spring Meeting and Convention.
Credentials: In charge of mailing out and receiving delegate and Board credentials
before convention, keeping tally of voters during Business Meeting, and ensuring quorum at all meetings.
Web Page:
In charge of maintaining and updating WOMOTC web site.
